Set in the centre of Avignon, Le Petit Avignon - chambres & appartement à deux pas du Pont d'Avignon et du Palais des Papes is a recently renovated accommodation, which offers soundproof rooms. The staff were amazing, so accommodating, we were allowed to leave our bags until check in, we were given so many wonderful ideas of what to see on our short stay there, it felt truly like home, we absolutely loved our room we were just so very happy and cannot wait to be back. We were able to check in a little earlier which was wonderful, so we could freshen up after travelling for quite a while.

In a prime location in Marseille, Maison Olea provides a Full English/Irish breakfast and free WiFi. Sophie was a generous and flexible host, allowing us to check in early and relax. The rooms were very well decorated, bed was comfortable, and the jardin was absolutely beautiful. Also highly recommend try breakfast!

Set just 14 km from Papal Palace, Chambre d'hotes du grand st-Marc proche Via Rhona features accommodation in Sorgues with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as bicycle parking. Victor was a consummate host. The property is gorgeous and beautifully kept. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and sweet smelling linen. Everything was truly perfect. Breakfast was so good - We only wish we had taken the option of dinner as we arrived late and Victor let us taste the dessert he had prepared. Incredible! Our advice is to let him cook for you and you won’t regret it. I cannot rave enough about this experience.

Alain is an amazing host. Very enjoyable to have a conversation with and his energy and approach to life just adds to the comfort of staying here. The view was also just stunning. The calmness of the area was appreciated. The decor of the accomodation was also a nice touch, as well.

Chez Guy, a property with a garden, is set in Marseille, 5.5 km from Orange Velodrome Stadium, 5.7 km from Rond-Point du Prado Metro Station, as well as 6.1 km from Marseille Chanot Exhibition and... Sometimes you come across really good people in this world and Guy is one of these. He really is a gem. We were hiking from Cassis to Marseille and had a great night of rest at his place on route. He helped getting us to the start point of the trail, organised dinner in a fantastic local restaurant and also showed us the sights of Marseille - which deserves a lot more credit than it gets. It's a beautiful and fascinating city. The breakfast was also fantastic. And of course the calanques (right on the doorstep) are stunning! I you are in the area stay here!

Located in Mazan and only 34 km from Papal Palace, Pura vida provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a patio. Everything was great: wonderful host, very clean and very well equipped room, so quiet and chill. Coffee and madelenes were delicious. The small town has everything you need and sits in close proximity to Mt.Ventoux and many other beautiful places. Excellent parking spot for our motorbike.

VILLA HOLISTIKA: BED AND BREAKFAST / POOL / AIR CONDITIONING/ MONT FARON TOULON in Toulon provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view, a fitness centre and a garden. This place is amazing. Tommy and his companion just opened, so It has still some work to be done, but the project that Tommy showed me is absolutely wonderful and I seriously can't wait to come back and see it finished. By now you will have the most clean and comfortable room to sleep in, with a gentle view over the swimming pool and the French green hills, and a splendid wooden deck around a fresh splashy pool with comfortable sun beds and pillows. The villa is very spacious, full of light and furnished with "très bon gôut", but the thing that really won me over is Tommy (such a great guy!) and his opulent, delicious, mouthwatering breakfast! I would've never left this place if I could. Thank you guys and see you soon, very soon I hope!

Most delicious coffee I’ve ever had. The breakfast basket is highlight and we used the home baked wholesome baguette for a later meal in the day.
