Well set in Inverness, Drumdale Bed and Breakfast provides a continental breakfast and free WiFi. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and luggage storage space. What a little gem! Just around the corner from the centre of town and the Cathedral. The hosts were lovely and gave great suggestions for dinner spots nearby. As I had to depart early, they made up a terrific takeaway breakfast to start my next journey. Oh, and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in!

Conveniently located in the centre of Aberdeen, Lochnagar Guest House offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. The stay at Lochnagar was beyond my expectations (which were high after reading many reviews). The place is charming, very tidy, clean, quiet and comfortable. Location was also very convenient for me - on a quiet street, but 5-10 minutes from anywhere (city center, bust station, train station, Union Square mall). In addition, Neil, the host was especially kind and highly responsive, reaching out before my arrival and during my stay.

On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Andrea, welcomed us warmly with nice hot cup of tea. She is very personable. The room was absolutely huge with an additional bed besides the large queen sized bed. The breakfast was cooked to order and it was scrumptious. Andrea did her best to point out the typical tourist hot spots. We had ample access to almost the whole house. The heating was a little light. We messaged Andrea and she increased the heating level to our satisfaction. Will come again, although I think the rooms would be full in summer.

Situated in Kirkmichael, Strathardle Lodge has a fully stocked honesty bar, guest lounge and free WiFi as well as in-house Cake School. Lovely quiet place, nice hosts, great breakfast, and we enjoyed the walks nearby. We would definitely book again.
