The owner is the most organised man I have ever met. Such a lovely, friendly, and helpful person. He takes care of his guests and house so well. Best place in Morioka where you could stay. Really clean and his recommendations are just the best.

Loved the staff, ambiance, food and local tourist attractions. Geibekei Gorge boat ride is not to be missed! We would come back here in a heartbeat! Oh and there were storks roosting that we could see from our porch!

Cozy place in rural area 1 station away from Ichinoseki town. Everything was excellent! Even the bath - there was already the tub with hot water to relax in. Also enjoyed the breakfast Futons are comfortable and warm so we could sleep without the heater in the mid November

ゲストハウス蘖 -ひこばえ localiza-se em Kitakami, a 34 km de Templo Chusonji e a 35 km de Templo Motsuji. The holiday flat is quite close to the Sakura spot of Tenshochi Park and the Michinoku folk museum. The flat is located at the riverside with a lovely view and is decorated prettily. The owner is nice. She showed us some beautiful places when we arrived and drove us to the station when we had to leave.

Appikogen Pension Mutti situa-se em Hachimantai, na região de Iwate, nas proximidades de Estância de Esqui Appi Kogen, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado... Kayoko-san was the perfect host. She was informative, friendly and kind. She sent and picked us from the ski slopes every day. Kayoko tried very hard to get our next hotel in Hachimantai to pick us since the shuttle no longer operated after January. She even offered to drive us there herself but we couldn't trouble her that way. She did finally send us to the APPI Kogen train station. Her food was excellent and very generous. Dinner every night was different, elaborate and oishii! Her pension was decorated with dried local flowers which added to the charming countryside ambience. For a private pension, her indoor and outdoor onsen was fantastic. We particularly loved the outdoor onsen. Pension Mutti is very conveniently located near the APPI Kogen slopes. We highly recommend it.

Great staying in a Japanese house. It was self check in and instructions given before arrival sufficed. Having use of a bike made going round town a lot easier.

Pension Entre - deux - Mers localiza-se em Hachimantai e fornece 2 estrelas acomodações com acesso a um jardim e um terraço. My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights on our Indy Pass ski trip. The lodge is immaculately clean and cozy. We loved our tatami rooms with private bathroom / shower. The breakfast each day was delicious and filling. The common area had self serve beverages with some snacks available all day. They have both a men’s and women’s Onsen bath that can be reserved by the 1/2 hour time slot and since we were the only ones staying there we had them to ourselves. It’s a quick 10 minute drive to Simokura ski area. There are several restaurants, Akatsuki brewery and several other onsens within walking distance. The best part was the hospitality and kindness of the host couple. Despite the struggles with language, It was fun chatting with them about skiing and their lives (with the help of Google translate). We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

タカマス民宿 localiza-se em Ōtsuchi, a 10 km de Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium, e fornece acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. I stayed longer than I intended. The little town radiates peacefullness. And so does this guesthouse. I felt so comfortable and respected here. I was so perfectly treated I just wanted to stay longer. I actually did. And I want to go back. Live at the end of the world again, feel that small measure of peace again.
