We loved staying in our room. It was spaceous, super clean and cosy.

I travel a lot and hqve been to serevel places, but here I found most gentle and helpful host I ever met. Location was beyond perfection, a few steps from the Pagoda street everyone want to take a picture at.

The host was phenomenal, she made us breakfast and each day was a different region. She also had amazing recommendations on where to tour. I want to come back to Kyoto again just so I can stay there longer!

Super clean, nice location, staff is super kind and the place itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was super good (both the western and japanese one) and each food was prepared with so much care and attention to detail.

I cannot recommend Kokonoe Machiya and its amazing host, Toni enough!! Thank you, thank you and I hope to be back again!

It was actually rather larger for what we have been used to in Japan. The fact there is everything you need, the washing machine a huge plus in summer and close to the stations. Honestly, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also super quiet and felt extremely safe.

Menyediakan WiFi percuma, Guesthouse Raku menawarkan bilik di Kyoto, 1.9km dari Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall dan 1.9km dari Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Was very spacious for our family of 5. Had everything we needed. Short walk to a Metro station and bus stop - so easy to get around. Nice and clean. Staff were lovely and they were happy to store our luggage on checkout day as we had things booked in before our train out of Kyoto. Would definitely book this again if I travel back to Kyoto.
