At first I was surprised by the good ratings, but it was indeed well deserved! The staff was very friendly and the guesthouse is very spacious, with a great view to the mountain and the sea. Excellent location right in front of the beach and a short distance from the train station, good restaurant and onsen. Fantastic welcome by our host, who took us to the local festival that took place during our stay.

The house was absolutely lovely, very central and near the station. My sisters and I were amazed and felt very welcome.

It's an absolutely wonderful place. I cannot believe there is such a dreaming place ever exist. The garden is beautiful. The hot spring is amazing. The whole set of room is comfy, it has bedroom, living room with kitchen and bathroom. The shower room has tub as well. Owner pick up and drop off the day arrive and departure which is wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is delicious especially sitting in the flower sun room with soothing background music. This stay is a wonderful experience with marvelous Ito exploring.

Situated just a 2-minute walk from Shirahama Beach in Shimoda, Beach Side Inn Shirahama is cosy friendly accommodation with warm wooden flooring and furnishings. The private onsen was so clean and good to have. The rooms were spacious. The best part was the staff, very polite and helpful.
