The location was rustic but everything seemed very new or renovated. The quasi-private onsen (shared between other people in the house) was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were also spacious with AC/heater, and a pretty comfy bed. The owner was also extremely friendly and prepared for us some amazing meals.

The owner is very helpful, picked me up from the station and drove me to the ski resort the next day :) highly appreciated! The house is cute and nice, I enjoyed my stay here!

Japanese old folk Guest House - GAMP HOUSE ligger i Iwaki og har rolig gadeudsigt, indkvartering og have. This was my favorite stay during my trip! Surrounded by the countryside, this 280 years old house has all the charms of its age, but still reasonably modern amenities. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And you can get amazing home-cooked meals too! If you want to go out of the beaten path and explore the rural side of Japan, this is absolutely the best place!

Guest House Chara ligger i Hirosaki, 34 km fra Sannai-Maruyama og 3,5 km fra Hirosaki Slot, og har udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. Warm and sweet hosts, we felt so welcomed and enjoyed chatting with them. The first floor tatami room was very comfy and cozy. We enjoyed the happy hour as well, and the delicious breakfast was thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend staying here!

Uchi ligger i Matsushima, 200 m fra Zuigan-ji-templet. Gæsterne kan lytte til musik eller se tv i fællesområdet. Der er fælles opholdsstue på stedet. Great hostel. The owner is realy nice and gives alot of tips on what to do and see in the area. The location is amazing. Walking distance from everthing you wanna see in town. It realy clean.

Minpaku Hiraizumi ligger i Hiraizumi, mindre end 1 km fra Motsuji-templet og 2,3 km fra Chuson-ji-templet. Der er have og aircondition. Fantastic location, great amenities, and lovely hosts. It was easy to find and convenient to the station and tourist sites. Breakfast was delicious.
