This property exceeded my expectations. I've stayed in over 300 hotels the past 2 years and this property reminded me that smaller guesthouses can provide charm and service that chain hotels lack. Breakfast was excellent! The hosts were an extremely kind family who will interact with guests (or not if they prefer privacy). The home is warm with calm music playing all day but guests have private room areas. There is a comfortable lounging room that doubles as check in and a connected balcony that overlooks the city. I was able to walk around the neighborhood and do some shopping, however Windhoek is better suited for short and inexpensive taxi rides. Still, the location was fantastic.

House on Olof Palme has pool views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Windhoek, 1.8 km from Eros Shopping Centre. It felt like being at home. We were well taken care of. One of the best family-run places I have ever visited. Liked every small personalized touch including facilitating every single request we made. The rooms were super clean and spacious. The breakfast was awesome and the staff was professional and pleasant to be with.
