I was a little worried about our stay on the houseboat as there are so many to choose from. However, as soon as I stepped on the boat I knew I had made the right decision. It is spotless and tidy. It is well kept. The owners met with us both to share the history of the houseboats and the local area. We had a wonderful cook and captain who took care of us throughout our stay. We were on a one bedroom boat which I highly recommend and we paid an additional fee for a trip down the narrow side canals the next morning: you must do this as you see local village life. The bed is enormous and all clean and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this houseboat again. There are many on the water but many are large and not well maintained. This boat is very clean and offers a more authentic experience.

Just having a one bedroom private boat makes a huge difference and allows you to unwind. The wonderful chef Sureesh treated us to amazing delights for breakfast lunch and dinner and Prince was an amazing captain taking us to the best spots. No request was too big for them and they made sure we had an amazing experience. We were taken to a fish market which was very pricey - and felt pushed to buy fish/prawns. We did buy a kilo of prawns which Suresh cooked deliciously. However the food provided on board was ample and delicious.

Fantastic food, very friendly and accommodating staff. Cooked us fresh prawns we got from the market as a lovely starter to our meal!

We had great time, staff was super nice, helpful and caring. Amazing food, so many new things to taste. Boat trip was the highlight of our holidays in Kerala. Two days of roaming in backwaters, observing life on the land and birds.

Marari houseboat VACCINATED STAFF pakub konditsioneeriga majutust Mararikulamis, 500 meetri kaugusel Marari rannast, 2,5 km kaugusel Uki rannast ja 43 km kaugusel Kochi bieennale'ist. The boat is well kept. The staff is kind and attentive. In one of the stops, we bought giant prawns and the chef cooked them for us. In spite of the slow and not promising beginning The air conditioning worked well, in spite of the slow and not promising beginning, which was very important, considering how hot the weather was during my stay.

Houseboat was lovely..staff , Stephen and Vishnu were exceptional, thank you for looking after us so well.
