Walking into the lobby of Locke at East Side Gallery felt like coming home. Cosy vibes in the lobby and cafe, with apartment spaces that are beautiful and perfectly stocked with kitchenware and cutlery for your stay. I especially loved how modern and personal it felt - the facilities, appliances, check-in process, guest communications. The staff are also 10/10 - ever helpful and provided great tips. I especially loved the digital handbook of sights and experiences provided to all guests. Location-wise, it's right by the Berlin wall and within a comfortable walking distance of the train station, bus stop and supermarket. Super safe area for a solo traveller. I stayed for 3 nights with my 2 children and mother. Perfect location, central parts of Berlin within walking distance, clean and modern apartment. Close to tram- and train station. Small, but well planned. Air-conditioning worked great and there was no noise. Towels/toilet paper/some dishwasher tablets included. Nespresso machine and bread roaster, well equipped kitchen. We had a tiny balcony. We were all very happy with the apartment and would happily come back.

The place was comfortable and clean. The location was great, well conected through public transport with the areas to explore.

Beautiful suite, vintage design, like 70s. Nice garden and sunshine balcony. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Subway station nearby and bike rental with in the building. 2 lovely cats live in the garden and they are super nice as hosts.

We stayed at this fantastic apartment and couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The apartment is new, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished, with particular attention to detail that makes it truly inviting. We lacked for nothing during our stay, as it was equipped with all the essentials and even surprising extras like a large smart TV and a record player with a selection of records. The location is simply unbeatable, being situated in one of the best neighborhoods in Berlin. It's conveniently located close to both the lively areas, the historic center, and all the major tourist attractions of the city. Additionally, the proximity to the beautiful Victoriapark made our morning walks even more enjoyable. The value for money of this apartment is exceptional, especially considering all the comforts and conveniences it offers. We would also like to emphasize the kindness and availability of the host, who was extremely friendly and always ready to help us with any request. The communication was excellent and made us feel truly welcome. Another highlight was the incredibly comfortable beds that ensured a perfect rest after long days of sightseeing. The only small downside was the pillows, which could have been a bit higher to provide better support during sleep. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to Berlin. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to return!
