I felt very safe it was a 18-20 min walk into town. I enjoyed the room. The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿 The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler. The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞 As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.

A place to unwind with a beautiful view, as the name of the accommodation also suggests, a little hideaway. Everything I needed was present, a comfortable warm bed, big cups of tea, silence, privacy and the owner's helpfulness when I needed it. I felt at home, it's definitely my favourite place when I'm in Glastonbury. Everything is nearby for sightseeing and to experience.

Accommodation was lovely, pub around the corner & not too far to main street, set in quiet street, so no street noise Lynn and her hubby were lovely, made sure we had everything (even home made chocolates & brownies) then left us too it. Breakfast was yummy, Lynn even gave us some additional spots to visit on our way down to Cornwall.

Dispondo de jardim e vista do jardim, o Maplestone é um Cama e Café (B&B) recentemente renovado, situado em Shepton Mallet, a 29 km da Estação de Trem Bath Spa. Wow! What a fantastic B&B! The furnishings and decor were top notch, super comfy beds, and the garden patio area was absolutely gorgeous! Alan was a superb host - we enjoyed our visit with him very much! He recommended a great Indian restaurant that was a short walk away, and the food there was delicious! Alan had a wonderful breakfast in the morning for us. Overall we were delighted with our stay. We wished we could have stayed for another night!
