Offering city views, Casa Gambusso historical house magnificent Lake View is an accommodation located in Verbania, 41 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 41 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The apartment is charming and full of character. Plus, it is huge and very well-equipped with everything from a pair of scissors to a cork screw. The hosts, Maria and Paolo, could not do enough for us. They even provided wine and several types of water in the fridge for us. There were maps with places of interest and restaurants in the area in a basket on the table. The ultimate kindness was taking us to the train station on our day of departure and handing as a bag of special amaretti cookies from the area. We travel a lot and places like this are few and far between. Very special.

Located in Cannobio, Spiaggia Amore - Appartamenti Vacanza Vista Lago is a recently renovated accommodation, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 18 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The kitchen was fully stocked with excellent appliances and cookware as well as beautiful china and was a joy to relax with breakfast. It gave out onto a small balcony with a view of the lake. A very short ad beautiful walk to get to either the main lakeside and center of town.

Located 48 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Lago Maggiore Bay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a private beach area and pool with a view. Wonderful - we had a 2 bedroom cabin with kitchen and an amazing deck on the lake. Very clean, very comfortable. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket across the street to pick up supplies.

Villa Vittoria is set in Stresa. The property has lake and garden views. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views. We rented the apartment with two rooms for the weekend and where very well recieved by the owners. The rooms were on the last floor, the room facing north had a nice view on Stresa and the lake. Additionally everything was clean and in order, and the neighbourhood was quiet! Would recommend!
