Moder and super clean apartment. Bed was so confortable and pillow as well - my apartment have 4 different pillows of different thikness so i could choose. I only stayed one night but I could easily stay a week - big fridge, kitchen tools to cook, stoves, and microwave.

We loved our stay at Coimbra Monumentais! The B&B has an excellent location next to the University and within walking distance of the main streets with their shops, parks and restaurants. The Botanical Gardens are next door and are simply stunning. The room was clean, very well equipped and very comfortable, with easy access. Manuella was a star and provided excellent and friendly advice on things we could see and places to visit. Parking was available and easy to use. Lovely breakfast! We also received clear instructions beforehand on how to reach the accommodation. Will definitely come back here.

This was truly an exceptional stay. The guesthouse is beautiful and has a very interesting history. It is the former house of the owner's great-grandparents, who were rice farmers. Now it is a stunning property with a pool, beautiful garden and farm with fruit trees and chickens (that provide the eggs for breakfast). Luiz is incredibly kind and welcoming, as is the rest of the staff. The house itself is really beautiful, it's a historical building, but very tastefully modernized, so that it is as comfortable as any luxury hotel, but much more interesting and charming. The kitchen is incredibly cozy, there's a woodburning oven, a fridge with local beers and wines, as well as fresh fruit from the garden and (insanely good) freshly baked cake. The room really was like a luxury hotel room, very comfortable mattress, huge bathroom with a new shower, etc. Breakfast was delicious and included many products from the farm, like eggs, jams, juice, etc. The house is located outside Coimbra, but only a five minute drive away from the city centre, which I actually preferred, because at night it was quiet and calm (and much easier to find parking than in the old city). I stayed for one night and while you really only need one day to see the major sights in Coimbra, next time I would stay for a few extra days to relax in the guesthouse and explore the area more.

I was in the apartment for 5 minutes and I knew I had to extend my trip and stay another night. Modern, clean, perfectly positioned for ease of access to the funicular up the hill. I take my comfort when travelling very seriously, this place had style and everything I might want.

Guest House Santa Clara er með útsýni yfir Mondego-ána og Coimbra-háskólann. Excellent location. Very comfy and clean. Restaurants and public transport are in a minute distance. Having a kitchen downstairs was a big plus for as I could make myself a breakfast and a cup of tea. Also we want to congratulate Sofia our host on her excellent service.
