Good size room with comfy bed. Had great view of the castle from our room. Bathroom was fine and very clean. We ate in the restaurant and had a good meal. Friendly staff. Very helpful guy on reception who gave me a tube of super glue to fix my bike boots when the soles were coming off!

The location of the hotel is truely magical, especially in the evening when the castle is lit up, the surrounding forests are ideal for a long walk (or run). On the hill overlooking Vianden only a 15 minute walk from the city center (a walk which initially looks more steep and challenging then it actually is) The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. Although the location is slightly remote, it was very easy to find. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. If you want to go and explore Vianden and it's surroundings for a few days, We would definitely recommend staying at the Vianden cottage.CornelisYoung couple
