Let me check in early and arranged a scooter for me right away. Location is a bit out of town on the way to the mountain area, Lao Bao, DMZ historical sites etc. but with food and coffee options within a few steps.

The host family were friendly and the location is obviously perfect for any travellers who want to visit different places in Quang Tri or to go to other provinces. We had really nice meals at very reasonable prices. We rented a motorbike too. (Sorry about mirror). It was a little hard to get bus north. Our host took us to side of road waved down bus and negotiated price for us. We are so grateful for the hospitality we received. I highly recommend this guesthouse. One last thing Our hosts son and daughter spoke very good english. Such a lovely family who were so willing to help us.

Options in Dong Ha seem relatively limited, so this is probably one of the best options. They also offered tour packages.
