And of course the great breakfast! Also we were there with a baby and the host upgraded us to the little apartment downstairs to make sure we could move comfortably in the hotel! It is a little difficult to translate all the positive impressions of my stay into detailed information. Here an old manor house has been transformed into a wonderful, modern but homely hotel. It is probably aimed primarily at wellness guests, but it is also well suited for business travelers. The owner welcomes guests with great warmth. Even if she does not speak perfect English (or German), you can communicate very well with her. My really spacious room or suite was on the 2nd floor. In the bathroom part of the suite there was an elegant/luxurious free-standing bathtub (which I did not use), there is a separate shower with fantastically fluffy bath towels and good care products, as well as a separate toilet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, eggs and bacon are freshly prepared. Croissants, fresh bread and home-made jams complete the whole thing. When I carelessly expressed my desire for Earl Grey tea the night before, it was probably bought especially for me for breakfast. I have never experienced such attention before!!! I had not asked for it and had not even hoped for it!

This is an exceptional place to stay in Dinant—easy walk to everything and train station, very friendly, communicative and accommodating owner, very spacious and comfortable rooms. There is a nice shared lounge with fridge and coffee, as well as a garden patio with comfortable lounges for an evening cocktail hour. The owner serves a very nice continental breakfast with pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit salad and fresh juice. He even includes a couple bottles of local Belgian beers gratis. What is not to like?

Lovely and cozy property! Great view and short stroll to the centre. Breakfast was superb! We are a family of four with small kids, and perhaps not the easiest guests to have. But the host responded to our every need, quick and friendly. Such a lovely place, where we really felt welcome! Our family room had a small kitchen, where we even could cook dinner. Chocholate and coffie complemented the stay, which was a really nice guesture. If we ever were to return, we would definitelt stay here again!
