I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Alphorn, and I must say that it was an absolutely wonderful experience. One of the things that really stood out to me was the amazing attention and care given to me by the hotel's owner. From the moment I arrived, the owner went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They greeted me with a warm smiles and took the time to explain to me the most popular attractions and answer any questions I had. Throughout my stay, they were always available to offer advice and assistance whenever I needed it, and they truly made me feel like a valued guest. In addition to the fantastic service from the owner, the hotel itself was also fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were great, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel Alphorn to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area, and I can't wait to visit again soon!

Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. The view! Fantastic view. The friendly and helpful staff. The yummy breakfast. Do get a guest card from the reception to get a discount for trummelbach falls. They have a picnic room if you want to eat your cup noodles or stuff from the supermarket.

In a quiet location in the car-free village of Zermatt, Hotel Capricorn offers magnificent views of the Matterhorn, free in-room WiFi. Most friendly and helpful staff. Incredible breakfast. Very nice spa with a jacuzzi that has a full view of the Matterhorn. Good facilities for those who will ski on the last day after checkout - changing room and shower.

The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. My husband and I stayed on the top floor of this hotel for 6 glorious nights. The staff were all top notch. We have zero complaints. Our time in Murren and the surrounding Berner Oberland will be one of our favorite memories for the rest of our lives. The views from the room, and everywhere else you go, is like a picture postcard. If we are ever lucky enough to return, we would stay at the Alpina without question. Roger was particularly terrific!

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. The Matterhorn view rooms have a wonderful, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The staff is all very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle and will pick you up from the train station. They have have a luggage storage area and we’re even kind enough to allow me to store my luggage for the night prior to checking in while I stayed at the igloo village on the mountain.
