A fantastic place with stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, tasty food and comfortable beds. Did I list everything? Our stay was exceptional and we couldn't be more happy to have found this place literally last minute. Totally recommend to have breakfast and dinner - it's a great value for money as you get a decent choice of dishes including local cuisine. The hotel is dog friendly and it really shows - there were a few families, including us, with their furry friends walking around. Go for it!

Featuring a bar, shared lounge and views of mountain, Casa Crescente is located in Boca de Huérgano, 50 km from Santo Toribio de Liebana Monastery. My only complaint would be they set the bar too high! I stayed here on my second night of this trip and have been thinking of it every day since. The dinner was a spectacular bargain, 11 euro for a bottle of wine, appetizer (I think I had soup), main (there was a choice of beef cheek or pork cutlet with potatoes--to be honest I which I'd gotten the beef but the pork was also good, and dessert--i had basque cheesecake. Breakfast was also a great bargain with eggs, ham, bread, coffee and a piece of cake for 5 euro. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view and was a good temperature.

Set in Cangas de Onís and only 22 km from The Lakes of Covadonga, Apartamentos El Llanin offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It's an amazing location, overlooking hills and mountains. Cow bells are at the background and there's even a friendly neighbour pony.

A beautiful balance of rustic and classical in a stunning rural setting, this hotel is located beside the Picos de Europa National Park in the Liébana Valley. It boasts an elegant restaurant. Stunning location. Charming , authentic Spanish hotel. The BEST meal in our whole 10 days in Spain( including Barcelona and San Sebastián!). at their restaurant. They close one night per week/ make sure you come on a night they’re open.

Situated in the centre of Arenas de Cabrales, near the River Cares, famous for its trout and salmon, this is the ideal base for exploring Picos de Europa National Park. It was very central in Las Arenas. Rooms had a fridge which was a bonus but no tea facilities, we took our own little travel kettle and bought mugs. The pool was fabulous.

The owners are very friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel like home, without stressing too much of course. The house has a communal area the guests can use to chat, read and relax. The location and view are something special, very quite and bucolic. The breakfast very satisfying and perfect for a day of hiking.
