In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company! Super friendly people, very delicious dinner, comfortable beds. What else to wish? Maybe a breakfast offer could be improved. But overall 9.5 of 10.

Hosts were great and very helpful. Very reasonably priced and my teens enjoyed the breakfast. We loved watching the sheep in the pastures from our room. Room 5 was a perfect getaway for our family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here for anyone looking for a place to stay in Stroud. It felt like staying with a family friend.

It was a great experience since the beginning. The rooms are even cozier than in the pictures. The restaurant and pub downstairs is of great quality and the people there really kind. Easy parking in front. There is no breakfast but they recommended us a good place a few doors away from the hotel. Totally recommended!
