There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Nastanitev Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar je v mestu Izabal, 45 km od znamenitosti trdnjava Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Nastanitev Hostal Blood Moon je v mestu Rio Dulce, 4,9 km od znamenitosti trdnjava Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. It was in walking distance of the ferry but off the road so you didn't hear the traffic. The host was lovely and we very much enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

Nastanitev Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante je v mestu Rio Dulce, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti trdnjava Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, in nudi storitve concierge, sobe za nekadilce, vrt, brezplačen... This was consistently the best food we had during our whole stay in Guatemala. The common lodge was so homey and inviting. We loved hearing the rain on our tin roof in our building. Bonus: The ferry to Livingston left directly from the Hotel pier. It was wonderful.

Nastanitev Casa de la Iguana je v mestu Lívingston in ponuja vrt, teraso ter restavracijo. very cozy place! better than in the pictures! Livingston is a very nice place as well, with a Caribbean vibe!

Nastanitev Finca Tatin Hotel s 4 zvezdicami se nahaja ob morju v mestu Lámpara in ima fitnes, vrt ter zasebno plažo. Nastanitev se ponaša s sobno postrežbo, na voljo pa je tudi terasa. Amazing Location! The staff is exceptionally friendly, competent and always helpful when it comes to organzing your activities. The owners are easy going and a lot of fun to talk to. Food is great, too!
