Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. I was super grateful to be given a room on the top floor - not only quiet but cosy, nicely decorated and with self-regulated heating. Bathroom well-sized, modern and super clean with instant hot water. Breakfast was amazing, too - choice between several options and while I twice had the Irish breakfast, e.g. the pancakes looked great, too. The room was ready when I arrived a bit before check-in time, and the host was super welcoming. Good location, if you don't mind walking a bit into the city centre (and prefer being away from the hassle). Supermarket and several food options within 5 min walking.

Westport is a wonderful little town and the Mariner is ideally located in my opinion. The room was modern and comfortable, very modern bathroom. This is a top place.

The family owned 4-star Castlecourt Hotel is located in the heart of Westport. It offers live music and dancing every night, a 20-metre indoor pool, gym and spa and beautifully decorated rooms. Beautiful room, clean, nice in room amenities. Pool and hot tub were nice. Great location in town.
