Situated in Takagi, 11 km from Shiogama Shrine, Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Compared to some places I've rated a 10, this could be a 12! Amazing value. It's a short walk from the two main stations (around 10 mins) and about a 20 min walk to the famous bridge. The place was modern (seemed recently opened) and was very clean throughout. I had a single room that was really spacious. The bed was comfy and it was a really quiet area. Best night's sleep in over a week! The kitchen/ lounge area was also spacious and clean. The owner/ staff were also really friendly and stopped in to have a chat. I wish I could have stayed longer - the cafe/ bar downstairs seemed like a cool place. Highly recommend!

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. The view from the rooms is amazing. The best is the private Onsen with view to the bay, absolutely stunning. The staff is superattentive and they axplain everything in english. The atmosphere in the hotel is quiet and chilling. Brekkie is very good and varies fron day to day. Parkibg is in front of the hotel or 100m on a hotel parking

Shiogama KITEN 一棟貸民泊 最大9名 is situated in Shiogama, 16 km from Sendai City Community Support Center, 10 km from Entsuin Temple, as well as 13 km from Sendai Toshogu. A perfect place to stay for a group. Spacious, clean, comfortable and comes with all the necessity. I really love the full kitchen and living area although a single toilet and bathroom pose some problem but still manageable. The noise from the train station is not too loud and the neighborhood is really quiet at night.

Super Hotel Sendaieki Higashiguchi Tennenonsen is situated in Sendai, within 17 km of Shiogama Shrine and 500 metres of Sendai Station. The room was not as small as some other hotels. The natural onsen and free breaks every morning and fre bar every evening was a great bonus. The location was very conveniently near the station, although the Google maps location for this hotel doesn't appear to be very accurate maybe because it's too new. Because it's new the rooms were really clean and great. They also provide options for pillows. Staff were very helpful as well!
