Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Mitsubikiya features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 800 metres from Matsumoto Station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our arrival and departure times. Prepared us some freshly baked buns since we were leaving before breakfast would be reasonable. Staff also gave a very nice tour of the building on arrival and answered all of our questions about Matsumoto. Would come back any day and explore the city some more from here! We didn’t get the dinner but it looked delicious from what other guests were eating. The buns were amazing

This is a family-owned hostel, it's very traditional-Japanese style. The staff was all friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and tidy. The Kitchen was amazing, pretty much got everything you need.

Stayed here for a three day ski trip. Lovely place to stay, the staff is also really nice. Really clean and quiet place to stay.
