Situated in George Town, 2.2 km from Northam Beach, The Terraces by Aayu features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. I only stayed one night before my flight out of Malaysia and I regret that I didn’t stay longer. The house and the vibe is really cool. Kind of modern industrial style. The house seems huge and there are enough chill out places and clean bathrooms. The rooms are very simple and small but for me totally enough. The hosts were very nice and I received several recommendations of activities via what’s app. You get free water, coffee and tea and also traditional bread. There is a small kitchen to use. I really liked the accommodation and the location of it. Would definitely come again!!

Located within 2.1 km of Northam Beach and 600 metres of Wonderfood Museum, Homs Female Hostel provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in George Town. This must be the best hostel I stayed at so far. MK is such a calm, lovely and utterly helpful soul. The place feels more like a home than a hostel. Always clean, enough soap/toilet paper, tea and coffee to help yourself. Location is right downtown close to everything and important bus stops. The ladies were all super respectful and nice to each other and it had a great communal spirit. I felt super safe from the get go. Also equipped with tons of maps, recommendations and activities for the area.

There was not an ounce of dust anywhere. Even the bathrooms were so clean despite being shared. I was sceptical of booking because I was traveling with my family. But in fact my parents loved the stay too.
