The decor is absolutely beautiful, creating a stylish yet cosy atmosphere. One of the unexpected highlights was the view from the pool – watching cows grazing peacefully in the nearby field made it feel even more serene. Renting boards was so easy, making it perfect for a surf trip, and the location couldn’t be better for accessing some fantastic beaches. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. A perfect spot for a relaxing and adventure-filled getaway – we’ll definitely be back!

Boasting a terrace, Chale's House Hotel is situated in San Juan del Sur in the Rivas Region region, 200 metres from San Juan del Sur Beach and 2.9 km from Nacascolo. Everything was very clean, the staff were so kind and helpful, and I felt very safe there (and in San Juan in general) as a solo female traveller. The AC was great and the drinking water provided in the rooms was really appreciated. It was very nice to have a kitchen and a little social sitting area that caught the breeze.

Situated in Rivas and only 33 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, Hostal Brisas del Ometepe features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Room was basic, but very clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay after leaving Ometepe. Owners were very welcoming and friendly! We would stay here in the future if we were visiting Ometepe again.

Set in Moyogalpa, Ometepe House offers accommodation with a patio and kitchen. The property has pool and garden views. Everything about Ometepe house was perfect...the friendly staff, the convenient location, the comfortable beds, and that pool was so refreshing. I will definitely be back at some point. It is the perfect lodging to experience Moyogalpa, and the island in general.

Situated 300 metres from San Juan del Sur Beach, 2.8 km from Nacascolo and 3.8 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, Tapihouse San Juan Del Sur features accommodation located in San Juan del Sur. The staff was amazing and incredibly nice and the room was clean, the food was delicious and the location was perfect because you have many close places to go to.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa La Aventura Guasacate - Popoyo is a recently renovated apartment situated in Popoyo, a few steps from Popoyo Beach. - very helpful staff - great tent with lots of space inside - great breakfast - nice little store

Facing the beachfront in Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and a tour desk are featured. All rooms at the hostel are fitted with a seating area. Very nice Staff. Gave us a free transportation from the port. Very helpfull. The Garden and the rooms are very beautyfull.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Hostel Clandestino Maderas is set in Playa Maderas, 600 metres from Maderas Beach and 1.3 km from Marsella Beach. It’s the perfect place if you are looking for some laid back, chill vibes where you can rest. The space is really open, in top of a hill with a nice view. The kitchen and the bathroom were super clean. Only 10 min from the beach by walk. :)

The Jungle has city views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Mérida, 2.9 km from Maderas Volcano. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or lake views. I've been travelling for 4 months across south/Central America and this is one of the most welcoming hostels I have been to. Check in was seamless and he provided us with amazing information in what to do here. Provided us with contacts for amazing guide to the local volcano hike. Also gave us plenty information of what to do here. The food was amazing for both breakfast and dinner and the views from our room were spectacular, with amazing sunsets over the lake which made the stay here so special. Thanks for everything and I highly recommend to anyone staying in Ometepe to stay here!
