A good location for a relaxing stay in Bidiyah, Milky Way Domes is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. I loved the big windows and the balcony to sit outside. I got up early to see the stars after the moon set and they were amazing. I could walk out into the sand and see all the tracks left by animals in the night and I watched a dung beetle working on its structure. The morning camel ride was well worth it. The owner served us tea and pointed out constellations at night.

Situated in Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp features accommodation with seating area. The campground has family rooms. Such a special stay. Communication was brilliant and friendly, pick up was easy (Mintrab castle, 5 rial/car) would recommend as the drive was amazing and great to chat and take pics. Dinner was delicious (5 rial pp). Lots of activities to choose from, but we just relaxed and soaked it all in. A fire to end the evening. A quick note, we came after a rare bout of bad weather, but big thanks to the team for communication and helping us plan our trip. We also couldn’t believe how clean everything was, especially after the rain!

Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Rashid and his team are simply the best! It starts at the meeting point where they prepared our car for the sand driving, gave us the instructions and it was easy to reach the camp. It has only 5 tents and it’s far in the dunes! The tent is spacious with very comfortable bed and bathroom with all you need. It is all very clean. They welcomed us with tea and coffee. The sunset was beautiful , you don’t need to go far from the camp and you feel like alone in the universe. The dinner was delicious and after they made a fire, we sat around and they sing and dance! After they drove us to see scorpions at night and after we enjoyed the stars and the quietness of the desert. Next day after breakfast they took us back and we spent just perfect day in the desert with Rashid who is an excellent host. Thank you!

Located in Al Raka, Arab desert camp provides accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. The luxury tent features family rooms. Such a great experience - a lovely secluded spot in the desert out of sight of other camps. The highlight was the evening around the campfire with cardamom tea, Bedouin music, and learning about the Bedouin who live in this desert. Badr was very helpful and told us loads of interesting things about the desert and the people who lived here. The tents have cold running water from a tank on the top of a sand dune, and there is electricity during the day from solar panels - so charge any devices you need before dinner!

The vibe and the dome design We love the camp located in the middle of Wahiba Desert, the vibe is so nice at night. The host provided great tea and dinner for us and told some story about Oman and this desert. Highly recommended if you are looking for camping in Wahiba area

Situated in Al Mintirib, wahiba Bedouiens privae Camp offers barbecue facilities. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Hamed is a kind and gracious host who provided a magical setting and shared his culture with us. Hassan, the camp caretaker is an excellent cook and could not have been kinder.

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. The rustic no frills made u feel part of the desert
