Set in Nelas, 15 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach, Puro Dão Hotel & Spa offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We found the hotel on a whim for a one night getaway and booked it only an hour and a half before arriving in the evening. The hotel was super responsive, helpful, polite and has everything you needed. The staff was fantastic, food was great, location beautiful and convenient and facilities are great. It’s an excellent price point so we’re giving it a very high rating. The restaurant is fantastic too!

Qunita de Sao Luiz is located high off the main road and has the most amazing view across the Duoro River & Valley. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with everything you need on hand -they are extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with an excellent selection. All in all it was a fabulous stay and one night wasn't long enough.

Everything is designed very tastefully and all the amenities and utensils in the apartment are very good quality. Great host who was very friendly and supplied us with local delicacies and wine upon arrival. Great place to stay while in Lamego and the perfect base for exploring the entire Douro Valley. Highly recommended !

Set on an early 19th century building Bemyguest - Loft Guest House Jardim das Mães Charming was completely renovated and offers accommodation in historical centre of Viseu. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The views were beautiful. Sr. de Almeida was so very nice and helpful both days that we checked in.

Very good restaurant and wonderful service. Rooms are surprisingly spacious. Castelbel toiletries— a local Portuguese brand. Front desk organized a day trip for us, which was fabulous. The views from this hotel are breathtaking. Breakfast is delicious, lots of local selections and fresh fruit. Perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs. The bar is fantastic, we ate every evening meal on site three days in a row. It was that good, and we are generally picky. We are already talking about coming back again. Linda and Vanessa were two of our favorites.

Located near Serra da Estrela, this 250-year old manor house has historic furnishings and artistic accessories. Each themed room is a reminder of older way of life. The house is magnificent. Rooms are very comphy and the whole house is like taken out of a museum. Breakfast is perfect. If you like that style, this place is a must
