The location is outstanding, beautifully but simply furnished, the staff are superb and the food in the restaurant very good with a lovely polite and attentive manager. Really didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. The owners could not have been kinder. The lady had my heart as you can tell she loves her property and her garden. This property was like a hidden oasis. It was perfect in every way with an exceptional shower and lots of hot water! We would love to visit again sometime!

Imaginário d´El Rei se află în Mesão Frio, la 35 de minute de mers cu mașina de Lamego, şi oferă o piscină sezonieră în aer liber și o terasă. Everything! Beautiful location, wonderful facilities, great breakfast (try the delicious scones), beautiful art allover the walls but the best of all is the owner. Such a nice funny and welcoming lady, told us all about the place, made sure that everything is fine, gave a recommendation for a good place to eat.

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. Charming hotel in a beautiful tranquil location run by an efficient helpful team. We very much enjoyed our stay and the excellent evening meals and breakfast served by the hotel's restaurant.The view from our room was stunning. It is a perfect base from which to explore Douro Valley.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Our stay was amazing! Dinner and breakfast were of excellent quality, the Porto wine was among the best we tried and in unlimited quantities :)

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. The staff were amazing, the moment we mentioned it was a birthday they upgraded us and were at our beck and call for the entire stay. They booked everything for us. Everyone who works at this hotel was amazing!
