Located in Washington, D.C, "HighRoad Washington DC" is located in a historic victorian mansion. The hotel is 1.2 km from Dupont Circle and 2.5 km from Dupont Circle and 2.5 km from Washington DC. This was my first hostel experience in the US and I can definitely say it exceeded my expectations. HighRoad has amazing location. It has a bus stop right next to the property as well as bike rental service. Also, I liked that they provided very informative brochures for everything that you might need. I personally liked their list of places where to have a breakfast. I felt completely safe, because in addition to card system for entering your unit they have a card system for entering the hostel. Stuff was very nice. They have everything that traveler might need such as shampoos, hand cream, disposable razors, etc. Towels were for free. You have an opportunity to use as many as you need and not only one. I really enjoyed their lounge zone where you can seat at the and of the day, sip your tea (they have a huge variety of it), read the book (they have a huge variety of it too) or play a board game if you're not traveling alone of if you're extravert.

The house was surprisingly big and fantastic value for money! There were lots of little extras (snacks, teas, toiletries etc.) and so many beds! More space than we needed. Incredibly clean, well furnished, well-located, no complaints at all. Absolutely perfect
