Situated in Covilhã, 7.4 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela and 17 km from Manteigas Hot Springs, Mountain Chalet features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi.

It was a very clean, cosy and practical house with a beautiful view. We were here for hiking and there is a slightly difficult track from Terre to Unhais de Serra, it was so worth it!

    The chalets are so charming! We stayed for one night only but it’s the perfect place for longer stays. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchenettes have everything you need of you like to cook your own meals.

    A fantastic place to stay for a night or two on top of the mountains to get away from it all. The chalet was great, clean, slept really well, and had everything we needed, aircon was a welcomed relief in the 40 degree heat. Particularly enjoyed the buffet restaurant, with a fantastic selection of food and the service was really nice.

    As the chalets were self catering no meals provided, we ate most evenings at the mediaeval buffet which was fine. The chalets themselves were fine if a bit limited on power points for charging etc..

    The hotel is located in the mountains, so it´s perfect location to enjoy nature, landscapes and fresh air. There is also the shuttle bus, going from Covilha, which brings you right to the hotel (which is very convenient if you travel without car). The hotel have very nice continental breakfast with the verity of options.

    The view is amazing, fabulous to wake up with in such amazing place. The chalets is very comfortable, the ac works perfectly and gives you that extra comfort. Its a dream place.
