Nicely appointed room. Coffee machine in room is a nice touch. Could be even better with a hot water kettle for making tea

We were absolutely delighted by our stay in this apartment. The host - Martin - was very friendly and helpful, we had a pleasure talking to him. Great location, right in the heart of Gmunden, right next to waterfront. The apartment is quite authentic, the one can feel it is made with soul, kept clean and well-maintained. Ratio price-apartment is very good. I would definitely recommend this place.

It’s a lovely town with access to the lake and a local rail/tram network. Various cultural activities and we timed it nicely for the annual ceramics fair.
We used it as a base from which to travel to visit friends locally but it was relaxing and a lovely stay.

Gmunden is an amazing undiscovered place which deserves a larger tourist crowd than it currently has.
It is the best place to stay in Salzkammergut as it allows easy access to all attractions in the region, but still this is a town and not a village.

Pretty little town on the lake, with a couple of excellent restaurants nearby serving local cuisine mostly. Lots to see, lovely walks, hikes and drives. One glaring problem they need to address ASAP. Gmunden lacks a decent 4/5 star hotel. There are a couple which are adequate 3 stars.

Quaint lake town. Highly recommend a short overnight trip. Enjoy dinner at Hackall restaurant. Amazing pizza. But make reservations. Take an electric boat for an affordable lake experience. Apartment accommodations were great

Very nice city with a breathtaking view with a castle on the lake and high hills covered in clouds.
The lake is crystal clear, so perfect for swimming, or sailing.
There are ferrys that can take you to other parts of the lake.
Just an absolutely gorgeous and clean city with very welcoming people.
Many art galleries and all sorts of exhibitions.
We also reccomend Hotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen in the city centre with a luxury design and very nice staff.

Amazing lake town, with a special sea-lake architecture.
Amazing lake town, with a special sea-lake architecture. Small but charming and the locals are very friendly.
The town offers many activities such as: an electric boat ride on the lake, a cable car that leads to the mountain above the lake, from where there is a fantastic view of the glaciers and the Alps.

Extremely kind and always helpful staff. The hotel is led by the family very professionally so that each guest gets proper attention. Absolutely smooth check-in and check-out, despite the fact that the hotel was full of people. They should give lessons to other accommodation providers, who are often lacking efficiency and ability to take care of their guests so well.
It was a really pleasant stay here. The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped. The location is perfect, we had a marvelous view! It’s 9 mins walk towards the lake, bakeries, supermarket and city center. We enjoyed it so much! So we booked one extra night to stay here. I would really recommend choosing this place in Gmunden.
On the lake, great views. Room was comfortable and also had a fridge. When I asked for a kettle it was quickly supplied.
The tram very close to hotel and takes only minutes to the train station ( you can buy a ticket on tram)
Breakfast was excellent with many healthy choices. Breakfast room also has direct views of the lake.
A cozy and spacious studio almost at the heart of Gmunden. Easy to check in and get in. No keys, just a door lock with a keypad. Lake is a 3 min walk and bicycle lanes are there also. We had an amazing journey on bikes along a lake. Parking is a bit tough due to tram rails. Тhe tram runs frequently but it is not so annoying.
A very modern place in the heart of the town. Very well furnished and decoarted. Spacious room and bathroom. The hotel offers a car parking and a secured bicycle room and has a small SPA area on the last floor (actually, only a sauna).
