Bright is one of the most beautiful towns in Australia. Nestled along the beautiful Ovens River, it has gorgeous trees, great places to eat and lots of lovely gift shops. You only have a short drive to other lovely places like Mount Buffalo, Harrietville, Mount Hotham etc.

We were fortunate that our two-night stay was during the Bright annual car show / exhibition which is held each weekend following the Melbourne Cup, with so much to see and many activities occurring and in that regard lucky to have booked some weeks prior on a road trip to Bairnsdale.
Found Bright extremely good with many things to see and do, the Tourist Information office is excellent with lots of assistance from friendly staff.
Shops and restaurants all very good, we had great dinners at a Thai restaurant and pub, there are many activity parks and walks for all age groups and Bright is fairly central for day trip visits to nearby attraction such as Mount Buffalo.

Bright is a beautiful place with springtime blossoms and new growth on the abundance of trees and natural shrubery. We love the Ovens River for its bird life and walkways and our accommodation leads onto all of that right at the front door. Superb views.

The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean and soft and comfortable with all the amenities. The huge window/doors leading out the river make you feel like you're sleeping in a beautiful garden. The owners are friendly and kind. The river walks are breath-taking. I went to Bright from Melbourne by train and coach - the motel was a five minute walk from the coach stop and the centre of town. Life was easy and beautiful - perfect holiday.
The hotel is in a great location for trips to Mt Hotham, as it is conveniently situated on the main road. There is plenty of parking available, and it offers easy access to the town centre's restaurants and shops.
Extremely clean and spacious hotel. Air conditioning was warm and kept temperature all night.
Beds were firm but comfortable.
Shower pressure was excellent and hot.
