The location is excellent with the beach and main shopping...
The location is excellent with the beach and main shopping centre literally down the road. Next door is a service station that sells bits and pieces you may have forgotten to pack, which was handy! The pool and the jump pad were the most popular activities for our grandchildren.

The Cafes & Beaches were lovely.
The Cafes & Beaches were lovely. Don't waste time going to Squires Loft - the waitresses and food were great, however nearly a 2 hour wait for our food to be served and the manager was rude on arrival and on departure, no apology. It was lovely to walk along the beaches and checked out the surf shops cafes and pub.

A great coastal town with wonderful walking trails, clean beaches and good quality cafes and restaurants. Torquay is very easy to walk around and there are parks and playground areas for young children.

Torquay was a lovely beach side town .
Torquay was a lovely beach side town . A great place to start to follow the great ocean road and visit the other towns along the way .while taking in the breath taking views of the coast line . Torquay is a delightful holiday destination with a great surfing beach, vibrant shopping centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We found the Torquay Hotel a particularly nice venue to eat as a family.
