Staying at Boterhuis Hotel we were just a few short blocks from Old town area and handy to other areas. A laundry was a short walk away also. The train station is farther away. We took a taxi. Otherwise we walked everywhere and also did a canal boat ride. It is a very cute town.

we've been many times. the town centre is a world heritage site and thus very busy with tourists. the Gruthuis museum has been recently restored - if it's your 1st visit, this is a great way to learn of the city's history. There are many other museums e.g. Chocolate, Lighting etc. There are lots of cafes and restaurants; an average meal with wine or beer will be min £30 per head. Just wander around the cobbled streets - if you get lost, just head back into the middle! NB please don't take a "trundle" suitcase - they make a terrible noise on the cobbles!

A very good place to stay for exploring Bruges. The location is approx. 10 minutes walk from the city center. The place is owned by a family who will do everything to make your visit perfect. Rooms have perfect cleaning and a fine decoration in Thai style. The price level is far below what you have to pay in the city centre. Baan Siam can definitely be recommended.
The hotel is in the old town close to all city centre attractions. Room was specious so it was great for 3 people plus big dog. Cleanliness was on a very high level. Very tasty breakfast with lots of choices. And last but not least the lady running the hotel is extremely nice and helpful. It’s been a great stay and we would use it again if we visited Bruges again.
The hotel is family driven and in a very quiete area that allows good quality sleeping. However very close to city centre, so the position is great. The whole Bruges feels safe and so is this area too.
The room was not so big but sufficient for our stay, and it was clean. Bathroom very good.
Heating worked perfectly.
The room was very cozy and the window looked out on the canal, which was lovely. The hotel itself feels like you are living in a part of history. A must stay hotel if you are in Bruges.
Room was really comfortable, breakfast was amazing ! The hotel is really well located in Bruges, we were so close to everything without truly being in the center
