Saint John King's Square and the surrounding area is very walkable and we had an excellent meal at Billy's Seafood. The market was interesting to stroll through and the people at the visitor desk were very helpful. It's easy to drive around Saint John, and we found convenient parking.
Reversing Falls is unique -- just be sure to see it both at low and high tide to understand how unusual it is. Our only disappointment was that the container village of shops was closed on the day we were there.

The landscape architecture on Market Square Warf was outstanding! The historical buildings were amazing. The restaurants and pubs at Market Square and downtown were plentiful and offered a lot of entertainment and food choices. I liked the Container Market, how innovative. Just really like the vibe of Saint John and will certainly return for a longer visit.

Must see the tidal impacts of the Ocean versus St John River - Go see an hour or two prior to low or high tides. The swirling river, the fish feast for the many birds and even seals, and the scenery behind. Nice restaurant that has a lookout by the main (non-freeway) bridge coming into town from the west. Also nearby, off FallsView Street, see the river activity from Fall View Park from the east side of the river. Colors galore for the sunrise looking west at the power plant across the river.
Old Town restaurants are nice, harbor area is also very interesting. Watched one monster cruise ship depart, but understand harbor can hold as many as 3 cruise ships.
Beautiful Victorian-era-type houses and very nice walks to be had.
Probably much more to see!

Beautiful place, lots of history, people were warm and friendly, food was surprisingly good, everything was 10 mins drive, loved it. Probably will move there for retirement. Abit of a homeless issue but not in all areas of the city.

Uptown Saint John will remind the travelers about the brief but glorious past of the city. There are many magnificent buildings very well preserved , without the 'modern' improvements. The town is quiet , people are nice and polite and the whole experience made me wonder: How did we go from this , to plastic siding ? ... :)

Location was very good to meet our two main needs. Cost efficient hotel near downtown Saint John (15 minute drive) for evening activities, and 10 minute drive to Nova Scotia ferry boat the next morning. Easy access to car from our room for loading and unloading gear. Room generally met our needs.
There is no breakfast at the facility. The location is too far from Saint John City with no eateries nearby. It is a below-average facility far from even the committer bus stop. The showers had cold water.
