The rooms are very organized and clean. It's cozy, comfortable, and spacious. I really like the modern furnishings in the bedroom, living room and barhroom. The beddings are very nice. I love that there are bathrobes. I wish there were sippers, too. Appreciate that there is a sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen has all the things we need to cook. We had a great stay in our 2 bedroom suite.

Probably the nicest small city in Canada. The downtown is compact and easy to negotiate. Lots of great tourist sites and visitor amenities within easy walking distance of the city centre. Parking can be scarce, but that's usual in popular destinations. Fabulous restaurants for every taste and price range. Great old Chinatown and some of the funkiest thrift shops in the country. And fabulous book stores!

I enjoyed wandering around Victoria.
I enjoyed wandering around Victoria. Public transit to and from the ferry terminal was a breeze. There was great shopping downtown. I ate by myself in lively restaurants and didn't feel the least out of place. I enjoyed the ambiance of the crowds. Munro's Books and Russell Books are worth the trip to Victoria just on their own! On previous trips I've taken in Butchart Gardens, the Museum, high tea at the Empress, Miniature World, etc. This trip was just for a solo holiday before Christmas and Victoria was a great destination for that.

I'm a visitor to Victoria but not really because I was born and grew up in Victoria. I love Victoria and enjoy every moment I spend there. I've thought many times of moving back home just because I love it there so much.
Visited the Royal BC Museum to see the Stonehenge exhibit. Had a great meal at the Irish Times. Drove around Oak Bay, UVic,. The views of the sea and even across the straits to the USA are spectacular.

Must do’s!
Must do’s! Butchart Gardens, wine tasting, high tea at the Empress, and food tour. Each of these events exceeded our expectations. Because we enjoyed high tea at the Empress so much, we also had high tea at Butchart Gardens as well and were glad we did. Two completely different experiences and both just wonderful! We also went to the castle, which was fun to tour. Additionally, we took the self-tour of the parliament which was amazing to see. The Irish Times pub is a MUST to eat at. Such a beautiful building with really, really good food. We had the Irish Stew and the Shepard’s Pie. YUM!!

This is the most beautiful small city I have ever visited.
This is the most beautiful small city I have ever visited. It is difficult to describe the beauty of the city: the cleanliness; the beautiful and bountiful flowers; the buildings lit up by white lights at night; the Inner Harbour area with its water taxis and seaplanes; the Beaufort Gardens; the incredible scenery; French Beach; the numerous international dining experiences. Everywhere is within walking distance in the central area, but the are also horse-drawn carriages or bicycle taxis if you're too tired. Parliament House and the Empress Hotel are stunning. The Governor's gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit. Having deer and peacocks walking in the suburbs is amazing.

Victoria is a wonderful city, with a real small-town feel.
Victoria is a wonderful city, with a real small-town feel. The architecture is gorgeous and steeped in history, and the views across the harbour at sunset were beautiful. A visit to the oldest Chinatown in Canada and the Butchart Gardens is a must.
I wish I could've stayed longer - and I would move there in a heartbeat!

I've stayed at 6 or 7 hotels plus a few STR's in the last year in Victoria. This one I would say is the best overall so far.
The rooms are brand new renovated.
Really nice clean finishes, large stand up shower, no tub, easy in and out.
Dimmers on bedroom lights, nice vibe, look forward to coming back with my wife.
Had a desk for work, lots of plugs for devices.
Great location downtown.
Big bright windows with blackout curtains.
The Oswego Hotel was lovely to stay at! Me and my husband stayed in a studio suite for two nights and it was perfect! The location was so nice - it was only about a 10 minute walk to downtown Victoria. We found a beautiful walk just steps away from the Hotel, its called the David Foster Harbour Pathway. The bed was really comfy too! Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend :)
Really big and cosy airbnb. Cindy was making sure from the beginning that we felt welcome and at home. The beds were really comfortable and downtown was only a few minutes by car. At the accomodation there was a folder with different suggestions what you can do in Victoria. Overall we had a great experience and it was the best place where we stayed on Vancouver Island.
The location was perfect for wandering around downtown Victoria. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. We were able to check in early so that we could go walking. There was coffee available in the lobby early in the morning and during the day. Good parking available. We had to book last minute and it worked out beautifully.
