I don’t really care for cities. I was here for two nights because of a transfer on planes. I went to the botanical gardens, which is lovely. But everywhere I went men and women had so much perfume. The Uber driver is the hotel rooms, people walking in front of me in the gardens. People don’t seem to realize that other people have a sensitivity to chemical fragrances. It was overwhelming for me, and I will avoid vocal to just because of the amount of perfume everyone uses. I couldn’t walk around the malls. I could barely make it through the outside parks and Uber drivers were difficult as well.

Bogota is a working city, very busy, modern and crowded.
Bogota is a working city, very busy, modern and crowded. There is a major issue with traffic especially during the rush hour. However, it has an historical area, Candalaria, which is quaint, colourful and safe to walk around at least during daylight hours. The Museum of Gold, the Modern Art museum and the Hisory Museums are all worth a visit. The Salt Cathedral is worth a day trip out of town. Don’t be put off by warnings about criminality- just take normal city precautions and don’t wander around at night in the centre.

There is much to see, in the central historic section of the city as well as in the neighborhoods to the north. Staying in the Chico and Cabrera sections to the north provide a more relaxed environment which are safe to walk around. The Botanic Garden is well worth a visit.

There are so many museums there!
There are so many museums there! We visited Museo de Oro and Museo de Esmeraldas. We also entered Gabriel Garcia Marquez's cultural center and went up Cerro Monserrate in the rail car. Bogotá is a city of many contrasts and places to visit for any taste and traveling preference.

The staff was very nice, kind and polite. also room was a big for us and we had everything we needed. our room was to the quieter side and we had no problem to sleep (many of our accomodations in Colombia were a very noisy). Bathroom was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. also we appreciate the possibility to leave our luggage in the luggage storage room after our check-out till our departure to the airport. Definitely recommend to stay when you are in Bogota!
I've been saying it for a while and will continue. It's the best hotel to stay when making a layover in Bogota. Close the airport, free shuttle to and from the hotel to aiport. Good breakfast included in price, they take care of you and your belonging with an smile. This time we used laundry services and luggage storage and was excellent.
This hotel has by far the best value for money of all the hotels near parque 93 although breakfast is a little simple but its good enough. It has a gym and the best sauna i have encountered thusfar here in bogota !!!!
