The old town of Leon is very attractive. Our main purpose of visiting Leon was seeing the ancient Roman bridge. The bridge is spectacular and for anyone interested in the history of Roman Empire this bridge is important.

An historic city brimming with places to visit of outstanding quality - many with collections of artworks within - of extraordinary rarity and importance. You can immerse yourself in Spanish culture here -it really doesn't get any better. There are great places everywhere for eating tapas, and sampling local wines. Leon was a delight.
Leon was a delight. It was full of interesting buildings, and the Cathedral was awesome. The Gaudi house was extremely interesting. We sampled a couple of restaurants (there were plenty to choose from) and the quality was excellent, and the prices cheaper than we expected. One day is not enough in Leon!
One day is not enough in Leon! The historical center is bustling from 12pm-10pm. It's easy to walk around and the church is well worth a visit. It's hard to find a cafe open at 8am. Leon is a one of the cities that the Camino del Santiago goes through, so you'll meet some interesting people passing through.
