The room was spacious and comfortable. Thank you to Daniel for booking me a disabled room which had added facilities to help me shower and move around the bathroom safely. The hotel was in a quiet location with a long promenade in front and the beach beyond. There was a pleasant garden to sit in or use a sun lounger. Just outside the hotel there was a bus stop with regular buses into Malaga; the buses were accessible and very cheap.
We really enjoyed the breakfasts which had a wide variety of choice and set us up for the day!

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.
A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.
From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

Malaga is a party town, every other house is some kind of eatery, we felt like in a huge entertainment "spain-theme-park". All the cruise ships which arrive here full of day-trippers don't help.
There are definitely more interesting towns nearby in Andalusia.
But the architecture is nice, I have to say that. Go off-season if you must.

Airport and transport system is excellent.
Airport and transport system is excellent. We used the train from airport to centre of Malaga and return. February is a Great time to visit, around 20 degrees during the day every day. Fabulous selection of restaurants, Tapas, drinks and bars to explore. Walk along the beaches and try bbq sardines. Highly recommend an organised trip to Caminito del Rey, and walk through the gorge, as long as you don't have a fear of heights.

Malaga has long attracted Europeans to its warm climate and sunshine. It is wonderful Spanish city and we enjoyed walking around much of it. There is great architecture, a lot of interesting alleyways in the medieval part of the city, Picasso's native home and the Picasso museum, and a beautiful port area with walkways and restaurants to have drinks at sunset or to eat. Nearby Malaga is also Nerja, a cute little beach town worth visiting and spending a day at its beach too. Beware though: everyone loves Malaga so lots of tourists along with the thousands who have 2nd homes in the city.

A wonderful hotel in every respect, very nice, polite and helpful staff, great breakfasts, many delicious dishes, several types of bread, yogurts, juices, coffee, cakes, a very nice restaurant, clean room, bed made every day, fresh towels every day, several TV programs, also in English, German.
A wonderful terrace overlooking the old town of Malaga. Quiet and really very pleasant. Close to everything, great connection to the airport (4 stops by light rail - 15 minutes). Thank you so much.
I would highly recommend
Indeed, this is a charming boutique hotel. We praise the friendly, helpful service given to us by Naomi on reception. She was brilliant with us. The area was great for us. It is in a quiet up market residential area. Just one small hill to climb to the Hotel. Taxis are pretty cheap and there are plenty available. No need for Uber or Bolt. 10mins walk to the beach 20 mins walk to the port and 30 mins to the old town. Our bed was a great size double but our bathroom and shower a little small.
Elegant spacious quiet centrally located hotel. Lovely poolside restaurant and service. Nice fitness. Large beautiful spotlessly clean rooms. Beautiful building and grounds. Friendly, discreet and helpful staff. Small beach adjacent. Located in a quiet neighborhood of downtown Malaga, just 10 minute walk from the port and bustling Old Town.
Nice modern hotel, closely located to Málaga old town. Roof top pool and sun beds are perfect when needing some time to relax. Had a lovely stay here and would return. An added bonus was the free drinks from the mini bar, a really nice touch from the hotel.
Great no frills hotel experience if you want comfort and convenience in the heart of Málaga.
Short walk across a road and your immediately by the shops, bars and restaurants of the charming old town
Also a short walk from the marina area
