We recently stayed at [Hotel Name] and while the experience had its ups and downs, there were some highlights worth mentioning. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, always going out of their way to assist with any requests. Their hospitality truly stood out.
The hotel’s outdoor terrace was a lovely surprise, offering a beautiful view of the harbour and the city skyline. It became our favorite spot to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The in-house restaurant provided a nice touch of convenience, serving a decent continental breakfast to start the day. We also enjoyed a few simple but tasty dinners there, which made it easy when we didn’t feel like venturing out.
Overall, while the hotel could use some improvements, the friendly staff, scenic terrace, and the convenience of the on-site restaurant made our stay pleasant.

I recommend starting your acquaintance with the market, then visiting the cathedral. After getting to know the cathedral, visit Napoleon's house. After the tour, freshen up and go to see the museum and Napoleon's chapel. Later, stop by the citadel and lie down on the nearby small beach.

Ugly dirty town.
Ugly dirty town. Better to go to other places where the local governments have cleaners and have improved the city, like Corse which is an amazing city. After being in Corse and then coming to Ajaccio it is a real disappointment.

A charming, elegant town with a lively centre and a huge port. Fascinating old port, and fort well-presented and interesting to visit. Current heartbreaking exhibition re Corsican resistance in WW2. Ate well, mainly Corsican specialities e.g, mussels with cheese, veal with olives.

I had the unfortunate experience of losing my iPhone at the start of my trip. The desk managers at the Hotel Kalliste were amazing!!! They worked tirelessly to help me locate my phone that was left in a taxi. Thank you to Ilme!! Thank you to Joanne!! Thank you to Thomas!! You all went above and beyond to help me locate my phone. Great sleuthing to all! I was able to retrieve my phone and carry on with my vacation stress free.

The staff was so helpful, friendly and all around sweet! As a woman traveling alone, I felt super safe and looked after. Thank you! I didn’t book breakfast so can’t provide any info on that but can say with certainty the hotel is really comfy and a true home away from home. Add in the brilliant location and you have yourself an excellent place to stay in Ajaccio. Would 10/10 book here again. Cheers! Georgia
Pictures do correspond to reality, this is a really big two-bedroom apartment with a huge kitchen and living room. Easy to recuperate keys. This is an apartment with character (probably inhabited by the real owner, when in town), with a few really beautiful old furniture, a classy apartment! Owner had left towels, shampoos and gel douches for everyone on their respective beds, something rare in Corsica.
Took a chance with hotel ‘under new ownership’ after reading previous bad reviews. Pleasantly surprised. Great location in centre of Ajaccio. Comfy bed and nice, crisp sheets. Walk in shower in contemporary bathroom. Staff helpful. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity as well as shopping, the market and tourist attractions.
The location was amazing. We walked right out of the hotel door to be in the loveliest part of town full of nightlife and restaurants. Accessing the property by car was challenging but the staff was very gracious and met us to ease our arrival. It was the perfect location to discover the city of Ajaccio by foot.
It is a hotel with a little bit historic atmosphere. It is situated right in the heart of Ajaccio.
I asked for a quiet room and I got one, on the seventh, the top floor of the hotel, where I didn't hear traffic or other guests.
