A great little house with everything you need for a short stay. Ideal location of visiting Leeds and the surrounding areas. The beds in the house are very small (not a full double), so not ideal if 2 people sleeping in them. They were also very hard. Bedding was clean, as were towels.
The road outside the house is a very busy road and the traffic noise went on all night. There is off street parking, which is a bit tight to get into, but is long enough for 2 cars.
The house was overall very clean, but there were some areas that could be improved on. The light fitting in the lounge had cobwebs on it and the bedroom with the bunk beds smelled of stale smoke. The bunk beds were a bit wobbly too. The freezer was broken.
The only thing we didn’t have in the house that we needed was a bottle opener.

As a place to simply bed down for the night its perfectly adequate but expect to find the room to be slightly grubby and tired.
Our destination was in Leeds (about 12 mls) however the value made the inconvenience worthwhile.
We did notice that had we booked on the day of arrival prices appeared to be about 20% cheaper and it did not look like the accommodation would ever be fully occupied.
Incidentally (whilst not a serious issue) be aware that vehicle access to the motel is only available if travelling East towards Leeds - a slight detour is needed if travelling West towards Manchester.

a very quirky little town with individual shops and cafes/...
a very quirky little town with individual shops and cafes/bars, good public transport links but awkward and possibly costly town centre parking in a car, lovely people, somewhat in need of some tlc and de-weeding!!, but where isn't up north/? lovely old Victorian buildings, mainly pubs with good ales nowadays, go in the Wetherspoons Richard Oastler, just to look up at the upstairs balcony, amazing, some great history in the pics hung up too. nice canal walk and we even managed a very worthwhile little trip on a canal boat with the lovely volunteers on the Calder. 2 supermarkets within easy reach of the town centre, visit the Open rest centre on Park Row for a cheap cuppa and butty andmeet the loveliest people. hope this helps anyone thinking of planning a visit
