Deal is a lovely place to visit. I am from the area originally and always enjoy coming home. Fantastic places to eat and places to see and revisit. This trip is was catching up with family and friends so not much sightseeing or eating out but we did a bit of shopping and that was nice.

A lovely ancient maritime & fishing town, with great walking along the coastal path. Good shopping from small independent shops and galleries with many good pubs and restaurants.
There are 2 castles close to the centre, with Dover castle a few miles south and may other attractions/places to visit close by.
Do not miss out on seeing Middle Street (and the side streets) - full of small centuries old houses.

It was a perfect place for a couple of days for me not being able to walk too far. The Rail Station, The King's Head and The Astor Theatre all close together was perfect for me too. With a nice long Pier to walk and enjoy the views was just across the road.

Great beach access and loads of good, reasonably priced restaurants. We especially enjoyed The Court Yard, 81 Beach St, Hog and Bean and Al's Bakery. Easy to walk, no car needed. Deal Castle was interesting and a great starting point for walking and biking adventures. There are also easy day trips to Sandwich, Folkestone, Dover and Canterbury available from here.

They are immaculately clean and well worth the money. We have stayed at many places in Deal, hotels and bnbs, we loved these rooms and will definitely recommend them.
Everything was tip top from the checkin to Jeff and the staff being welcoming, informative and as charming as this boutique hotel itself. Great value for money and lovely breakfasts. Right on the waterfront as it claims and central to town which has a thriving seaside village atmosphere. I shall return!
The room was very comfortable and clean with a lovely sea-view. The hotel was in a great location, close to the beach, Deal Castle and the shops. The hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Lots of other pubs and restaurants nearby too.
The rooms are spacious, we arrived late after being stuck in traffic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We stayed so we were close to Dover port and this hotel was perfect for our needs.
