This is what hotels should be about - we fell in love with that place! If you are looking for a hotel near Diakopto, look no further.
The road to the hotel was a bit bumpy, but that's the only downside. The hotel is run by a lovely couple who are super friendly and take good care of the place. They offer directions to lovely taverns and the beach.
The room was GIANT and spotless.
The breakfast was superb. Quality ingredients and homemade marmalade (I fell in love with the orange one) that the owners made by themselves.
It's so quiet and lovely there, you can watch the stars shining above the sea and mountains from a large balcony... Magical.

Great location. Sea view. Nice accessible bathroom. Comfy bed. Efficient aircon. Lovely little patio with table and chairs. Lovely little stony beach which was just in front of the apartment with sunbeds and personal service from the bar. The sea which is lovely to swim in although I recommend beach shoes. Great restaurant a short drive or longer walk away called Panorama.

Staying in Katerina's apartment is a great pleasure. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, spacious, the kitchenette has all the necessary accessories, you can prepare a meal or go to the restaurant right next door. The best place for morning coffee with a view of the port, the Gulf of Corinth and the towns on the other side of the bay. Katerina is a wonderful person who will take care of your rest.

This location is perfect for anyone considering a stay in Diakopto and a trip on the rack railway to Kalavryta.
The property Is a 5 minute walk from the railway station and a similar distance from the seafront.
There is a very good supermarket just beyond the railway station.
We stayed in a bottom floor apartment with one bedroom, a bathroom and a large open living and kitchen area.
The property was very clean and the shower in the bathroom provided plenty of hot water.
We got a very friendly welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta...
The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta. It also has a limited rail service to Athens and is close the the main Pelopponees motorway. It is very much off the tourist map and the town offers little in the way of attractions. It is however ideal for those wishing a quiet stay. Not a place to entertain children.

It was a quiet clean venue with close by restaurant facilities near to the beach. We were out of season and it only opened at weekends. The main tourist attraction of the rack railway was not operating due to a land slide blocking the line.

This apartment in Diakopto became for us a place where we did not want to leave. Without a doubt the most soulful and comfortable place we have stayed in on a fairly long journey through Greece, Italy and France. Literally 100 meters from the sea, among flowering gardens and oranges and tangerines waving on trees. Exceptionally clean, comfortable mattresses, fast internet, everything you need in the kitchen, peace and quiet.
Good hotel, but most of all: very friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you stay in the area of Diakopto. Also the hotelrestaurant has a lot of choice and the quality and quantity is very good.
