Nydri has everything you need - maybe a little too much!
Nydri has everything you need - maybe a little too much! Very busy lively town - stay on the outskirts if you want a bit of peace. It’s a good centre to find all holiday amenities. Loads of tourist shops, food shops and tavernas but not the best quality in our opinion - taverna food in particular seemed very europeanised and much was of frozen/tinned origin. Excellent centre to hire boats, boat rides and take ferry trips to other islands. Also car hire, bikes, quad bikes etc. Local attraction of Nydri Waterfallls was very beautiful even though there was no water and hasn’t been for two years now - wear good shoes.Janet - Scored 8.08.0
A lovely family run accommodation, the rooms and pools were...
A lovely family run accommodation, the rooms and pools were regularly cleaned and fresh towels. The pool was exceptionally clean and was regularly serviced early mornings. Menu at pool bar is limited for lunch, supermarket is a good walk. I would suggest a car if staying at this accommodation and keen to do self catering. Staff were very helpful and were on hand to order taxi and take away foods.

Nydri is a small town with layers.
Nydri is a small town with layers. At night on the main town front there is lots of activity and trip boats. There are also small bars and beaches. One main pedestrian area is clean with normal bars and shops. If you have a car it would be a good base.GailUnited Kingdom - Scored 1010

One main street where most restaurants were and then there were beach bar There is a bus service which is air conditioned and runs the length of Lefkas. It was more touristy than I realised ,have travelled to other Greek Islands, chips with every meal , used to having salad on other Greek Islands! It is one main street, very hot on our trip, did not venture very far! The restaurants are all around the marina which makes for fabulous views day or night and all serve some of the best food in Greece be it a snack or a three course meal. On the day of our arrival we got water and some snacks which was very kind. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and it wasn't noisy at night even tho the main road is close. The room is just gorgeous Thank you for everything. All those little touches like the fruit the fridge stocked, the coffee, the cleanliness made it special.
