Everything easily accessible and helpful staff. The clearing of tables in the restaurant was amazing! And we got upgraded to a superior room. Liked the walkway into Bol.with the bars! And liked the fact there was a separate quieter pool at the resort, with no screaming kids and balls flying about. Also - we had teenagers, so didn't use this, but this is a great resort for those with younger kids too, evening entertainment, dancing and activities provided.

Bol is a lovely little town, with a beautiful harbour and several excellent beaches. We were there in September so it wasn’t too busy anywhere. The better restaurants are to be found away from the main harbour area, and we had some very enjoyable meals. There are plenty of boat tours, but if you want to see the rest of the island you need to hire a car. There are many secluded coves around the island.

We visited Bol during the summer as part of a longer trip to Croatia, we enjoyed it so much we decided to come vack for an extended weekend. We were a little worried that we had hyped it up in our memory but we needn't have .. it was exactly as we remembered! The vibe, the people, the location .. all perfect .. we'll be back ... AGAIN!

The island of Brac is a matter of our hearts.
The island of Brac is a matter of our hearts. We love its smell (the smell of the sea and the pine trees), its sounds (the singing of the cicadas and the music of the sea), the warm-hearted people who are always willing to help. We arrived by car from Split by ferry to Supetar and from there across the island to Bol, where we stayed in the town centre (we have stayed 4 times now at SD House Rooms, we go every year in July and August). From there we rode our bikes to Golden Horn beach every day. It's a gorgeous beach with clear beautiful sea which is different every day. The beach is kept clean every day, there are snack stands and bars with a great menu, good ice cream and good coffee, at affordable prices. By the beach there is a grove of tall pine trees (pines), which gives the possibility of shade and a pleasant cooling down. People bring hammocks to rest in. Nearby there is a bicycle rental, scooters. The harbour in Bol is charming and the promenade to Golden Horn beach is beautiful.

Bol is a really nice city, I only reserved here for the Zatni Rat beach and I was surprised by how beautifull the city was. The food was great, Bol beeing among the few places where food was always verry good. The Zatni Rat beach was really nice as well, although it's not a sandy beach as it is marketed, the view from here was really nice!
I think that the only downside was that it seemed to be verry expensive for what it was, would definetelly reccommed the experience to everyone, but I don't think I will ever come back since there are better options at cheaper prices out there (Mallorca beeing one of them).

Very quiet place and less tourists than Hvar.
Very quiet place and less tourists than Hvar. As many places too many people in the popular beaches but it is possible to find less crowded beaches in walking distance.
I did not like cash only spread at all places.

Beautiful Island.
Beautiful Island.
Despite travelling in early July, we didn't feel like it was overrun with tourists. There were day trippers from other islands/mainland but it didn't feel crowded.
We arrived by bus/ferry and hired a car on one day to see more of the island - Boomer Rental were great! You have to call them as they have no office but very friendly and dropped car at hotel. No hidden costs! (unlike RentalBrac)
We found a lovely little beach used by the locals. Great for kids.
Lovely little restaurants in the area.
Amazing apartment with even better host, dear Dubravka. The view is perfect, balcony setting is everything you need on a fresh morning and a breezy night. Location is great, everything you need on a vacation is super close, few minutes walk distance. The apartment is super chic decorated - fully equipped, you won't miss anything. Everything was extra clean and fresh. We had the best time and couldn't recomend it more. Dubravka put great effort and set the bar high at Croatian tourism and hospitality. 🙌🏖
Perfect location from balcony. Able to watch people walk-by, great atmosphere. Close to restaurants & shops. We met host & room shown which was large and generous. Window from our bedroom & lounge showed sunset & sunrise perfectly.
Very comfortable bed & great facilities. Would stay here again. As in a-lot of Croatian towns parking is paid for and limited. You can park outside the room drop off gear, & pay across the road or go to the lot 400m for free which all locals use.
Very friendly staff, they heated the sauna for two of us. Comfortable and quite spacious room, has bathrobes and slippers, toiletries include hair conditioner. GREAT breakfast, very tasty fresh apple juice and it was the only hotel in our week in Croatia that had good coffee.
The hotel has great location, very close both to the old town and to Zlatni Rat beach, it is in a calm and relaxing area, the hotel is clean, decent, calm with various options for breakfast and dinner. The hotel personnel had a prompt resonse to our requests.
Mirna was a great hostess and the accommodation was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional, the best during our two weeks stay travelling Croatia especially the fresh home made cakes which varied day to day.
