Cute little town in a mighty scenery ( mountains above, a river and the sea. Lots of little restaurants and coffee shops. Sandy beaches. Ate at a little tavern with tables in the street and recommend it.

If you have a car parking is a problem.
If you have a car parking is a problem. You need to the parking lots and for short term stays its just not worth it. The supermarkets were accessible and in good places. The visit to the fort in the old town was probably the highlight!

Plenty of eating options. Very friendly people. Lots of options for those who want activities. I particularly enjoyed rafting along Cetina river and the view from Peovica fortress (only moments away from main street) was worth climbing lots of steps and €3 entry fee.

Omiš is a beautiful town, lots of quaint streets filled with history, restaurants and shops. The harbour area has water based activities, boat hire and many attractions. We didn’t use the beach area but wandered along of an evening which was really pleasant. There is a small fun fair (again we didn’t go there) but looked well attended. The water is crystal clear. We preferred Omis to Split or Zadar as it was smaller and quieter but had everything we could want.AAnonymous

Wonderful! Also! On the first night, we arrived late to the property and we missed dinner. However, the receptionist (Sandra) arranged for us to have dinner in the Ala Carte restaurant for free for that night! (We ordered whatever we wanted for free, except for drinks and dessert 😆). Thank you, Hotel Plaza! We enjoyed that place so much!MarioFinland

There is Cetina river near, Omiš center with all restaurants about 10 minutes away, great beach as well. Host was great! Very comunicable and friendly. We stay here with our 3 kids. They loved the place. There is 2 air conditioners, all kitchen supplies- blender, mixer, toster etc. grocery store near. And the last but not least- amazing view at sea and mountines. Walking distance to the beach and 5 minutes drive to Omis supermarket and town centre. Aparment was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and with a large terrace. Beds were comfy, and the house was only 5 minutes walk to the seaside down the hill. The host family lives at the place, and they were very helpful and nice to us. Just behind the house lead bike and hiking trails.
