Hotel area is very convenient , just walk distance to the mall Dirty bathroom the wall with many of black mould and the sewage is terrible stink , bathroom can not close unless you use with thin coin, so the smell spread to the bed room. but the receptions did not want moved use to other rooms. instead try to clean up and poor with hot water. but the smell doesn't go away. we never come across with the filthy bathroom in any hotel before. will avoid this hotel if you plan to go to Batam.MeyliaIndonesia - Scored 8.08.0

Do not take motorbike taxi and taxi, use Grab for both. Most private motor bike taxi and taxi is likely to scam you especially you are not local, driving to a wrong place, look blurr, suddenly don't understand what you are talking about and ask for more money. Locally I can't find any tours. They prefer you to charter the whole taxi to places of interests. It is not worth it for single. Grad don't do tours and private motorbike taxi and taxi can but again plenty of unforseen situations and incidents to milk you for more money along the way.
