The Well Cafe (called beo - the well) and Brogans Pub are highly recommended for great atmosphere and food options. Spotted many other nice shops but didn't have the time to browse much. Parking in the town was a little difficult (hard to find spaces) and the country roads around the town are quite narrow.

We were directed to Ennis as being "the home of Irish pub music". Yes we did go to 2 pubs one night and enjoyed some music. It was great - well it was ok. I would not travel all the way there again as there was little else in Ennis.MichelleAustralia - Scored 1010

The town itself is perhaps not as quaint as others, although there are still great spots (and lots of contruction when we were there, so I bet we saw it at its worst), but it is so central to many cool places...the Cliffs, airport, Bunratty Castle and Craggaunowen Castle (cool historic area, must see!) and Aillwee Burren experience. Eat at Knox's for consistent fare and sometimes trad music, and Paddy Quinns for trad music.Mize-Humphrey - Scored 1010

Although there was construction work in the centre of town, it didnt hinder our enjoyment. The selection of shops were excellent and we enjoyed some retail therapy. We enjoyed excellent food at Brogans Bar & Restaurant in O'Connell Street. Perhaps there could be more venues for Breakfasts early morning..KathleenIreland - Scored 4.04.0

We were attending a local music festival and unexpectedly arrived back at the hotel on the early hours of the morning only to be greeted with a friendly welcoming smile.
