Loved the rustic decor. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was just perfect for our little two day stopover. Exceptionally clean

We had a perfect stay at this hotel! A special mention to the Turkish woman working there. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help.
Beautiful and peaceful city. Pictures main square, with an interesting local market. Nice bars and restaurants near the coast. There is also a small port where it's possible to take a boat to explore Lake Como. Villa Erba is a must-visit for exhibitions, as well as the music festival during the summer.

Cernobbio is a lovely location, quieter than Como and other tourist "honey pots" but with enough to make it a good base to see the lake and its towns and villages. Whilst it might seem unnecessary to nave use of a car, we found it better to have one, particularly for getting into the mountains for walking and trekking.

We enjoy walking and staying in Cernobbio was very relaxing and charming. The restaurants were plentiful, with many available outside seating. The lake is beautiful and serene, and we enjoyed a ferry ride around parts of the lake. The wind was troubling on the day of the wedding ie. glasses whisked off their tables, music, and camera blown over)...We stayed 4 nights and would certainly return to Cernobbio in the future!
The C-10 bus at 2:30 and 3:30 pm were over-packed. I would not try this again.

Cernobbio is quite small, in that the centre is very compact (easy to get around!). We travelled to Como (from Bergamo apt via Monza on public transport) and the bus and ferry options make for easy local transport.
Friendly place, NO sense of getting ripped-off as a tourist and good options (for all palates) for cafes, restaurants and bars.
Ideal touring base if you don't need the hustle and bustle of a larger town - and if you do then stay in Como and do Cernobbio for the day. Small = friendly and the locals were very helpful and wanted to serve us well.
Last weekend was the Villa d'Este (and also at Villa Erba) concours of elegance, so if you're a (classic) car nut then it is a 'must-do'!

Would recommend this location if you want a nice small-town atmosphere from with amazing views from where you can visit all other towns on Lake Como.
If travelling off season be aware that ferry times are different. There was a 2-3 hour waiting time to catch a ferry to Bellagio. I found Bellagio nice but 1 day was more than enough to visit and none of the hotels would have had the view as the one from Cernobbio.
Found Villa del Balbianello in Tremezzo was the best from the other couple we visited.

The bus stops to get to/from Como were right in front of the hotel. Otherwise, it was a 10-15 minutes walk to the Cernobbio boat terminal. There's a Lidl outside if you're curious about what's on offer in Italian Lidl. The rooms are basic and decently clean. Quiet area. There was some breakfast offered (though it was not listed in our booking): a hot drink and some bread with butter and jam.
Well appointed room, clean and recently renovated. Great location in Cernobbio with easy access to Lake Como, Como centre and surrounding towns. Friendly accessible staff. Good breakfast excellent coffee.
Good location for driving around Lake Como.
Breakfast not included but food stores close by.
Plenty of space and 3 air conditioners.
Fully supplied kitchen inc' oven.
Excellent for families up to 6.
The location was fantastic and so cute too! Perfect for getting around Cernobbio and Lake Como. The owner was so lovely and gave us many recommendations.
