It was very short stay in Padova. Only 2 days one of them we use to visit Venice. Of course we would like to come back to see Padova in more details.
Location of the hotel was great everywhere 5-10 minutes walk. Just one step to Cathedral that make your feel magnifical. Even to train station you can walk something around 20 minutes.
Breakfast, personal, restaurant infront of hotel everything was very good. Room was the best during our 14 days travel in Italy. Family room with two bedrooms and very sweet interior design. Sound insulation, cleanliness, comfort all the great. I can't find really any problem. But the best was signor at the reception made jokes and helped with any information. Thanks to him to make our days smily.

An artistic gem, Padua (or Padova in Italian) seamlessly combines awe-inspiring heritage and a modern vibe. Counting Galileo among its former tutors, the University has the world’s oldest UNESCO World Heritage-listed botanical garden.
Across the road is huge Prato della Valle, a green square with a canal lined by 78 statues, and home to a Saturday market. A market is also held in squares near to Palazzo della Ragione whose multi-levelled arches and vaulted wooden ceiling are an impressive sight. Cobbled, porticoed streets lead to the finely-crafted Gran Loggia and clock tower.
Every church has incredible décor, but the most famous is Saint Anthony of Padua, boasting the bones of the saint, an impressive 7 cupolas and 4 cloisters. The square in front has a statue by Donatello. Padua Cathedral's simple exterior houses amazing frescoes inside the baptistery by Giotto, creator of the jewel in Padua’s crown – the Scrovegni Chapel. His 14th century frescoes there have been meticulously restored to be as vibrant as the day they were painted.
The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo, but before you head there from your Padua hotel, apartment or B&B take time to enjoy the narrow streets around Palazzo del Bò or the Jewish district.
One of the most underrated cities in Italy. I have been three times in two years and it has great buildings and a buzzy feel. The Palazzo della Ragione is a world-class space and I would visit the tiny Enoteca Severino weekly if I lived there.

I think Padova tends to get overlooked because nearby Venice is such a draw for travelers. But Padova has so much to offer. The Scrovegni Chapel contains a cycle of frescos by Giotto that turned the art world on its head. The Palazzo Raggione is so astonishing that I could barely get myself to leave. There are three piazzas in the center of town - one with an ancient clock tower and two others with frequently-held markets - all three piazzas being wonderful places to have dinner or an evening spritz. There is also a historic covered market. The city boasts both the oldest botanical gardens in the world and the oldest anatomy theatre (in Palazzo Bo). I could list many other things - St. Anthony's Basilica (loads of relics!), Prato della Valle (one of the largest squares in Europe), Galileo's home, upscale shopping, etc., etc., etc. Maybe I shouldn't recommend it so highly, as one of the things I like about it is that it isn't as touristy as nearby Venice!

Nice and elegant city, with three main squares, beautiful and with a lot of cafes. Avoid Pedrocchi though, they were a bit rude and careless (at least for us). The city is very lively with the university. I would go again and spend several days around.

Padova is lovely and like many Northern Italian cities.
Padova is lovely and like many Northern Italian cities. We were using it as a hub to visit other places in the Veneto region. But it’s VERY busy even in this shoulder period. Frankly when we went to Vicenza and loved it and it’s quiet, we wished we’d stayed there or returned to our beloved Bologna and used it as a hub to see other places! Sadly despite best intentions a much-wanted day trip to Ravenna was just too far to achieve in one day. And northern Italian cuisine is clearly influenced by its Austrian history and the pasta is heavy and not as enjoyable as our experiences of Italian pasta in other places. That’s not a massive deal but we just didn’t enjoy the meals as much as we expected.

Lovely city easy to get around in and lots to enjoy.
Lovely city easy to get around in and lots to enjoy. accommodation in prime position, welcoming hosts. Especially loved the Giottos in the Scrovegni Chapel - night viewing well organised with wonderful video before entering the chapel which we enjoyed more than Sistine chapel in Rome.

A big student town full of energy and young people, Padova is also a hub of interesting sites and museums. You really need several says to visit the town, the Eremitani museum with worth at least a whole day on it's own.
Once you crack the public transport, you can really get around easily, especially on the tram. Do not miss Giotto's paintings in the Scrovegni chapel.

My single room was really comfortable. It happens too often that if you book a single room you end up in something like a shoebox. Not in this hotel! The room was very good and spacious. The hotel is practically across the busy railway station with a lot of traffic passing by, but there was no noise in the room and I could sleep very well. Location is perfect if you depend on a bus and/or a train for your journey. If you are planning to spend a couple of days in Padova then maybe this location is not ideal.
We came for the first time and only for 1 night, but we were surrounded by the attention and care of Filippo and his family as if we were regular guests. Filippo told us a lot of interesting things about the city and recreation opportunities around. We were very surprised how beautiful and interesting Padova is. We felt the atmosphere of real Italy here, both in the house and in the city. It was a fantastic experience. We'll definitely come back. Thank you!
Great location in the center of Padua. Everything was at short walking distance. The suite was very comfortable but with a living room too big respect to the bedroom and the bathroom. Safebox and complimentary coffee&tea machine in the room. Unfortunately I had not time to use the complimentary small SPA. The breakfast was good but the choices were a bit limited, but this is usual for hotels in Italy.
The hallmark of this typical hotel in Padova lies in its professional and amiable personnel. From check-in to daily interactions, the staff consistently delivers a level of service that meets expectations. Their attentiveness and friendliness contribute to a positive guest experience.
Perfect location in the center of Padova. Kennedy at the front desk was great in helping us get checked in, parking our car, and providing advice on where to go in the city. Decent breakfast for Italy.
