Booked just a day in advance during peak season (ty to whoever cancelled) and received a great deal. The Rautal B&B is 5 rooms and 10 appartments. Very nice diverse breakfast offered. Small but well arranged spa area. Parking in front of the B&B. Ski bus stops maybe 20 m from the premises and it's a 2 min drive to the slopes. The owners just super friendly.

    Exceptional, the location of the hotel is great. The village is a little jewel. The room had a nice view of the village and the surrounding mountains. The hotel personnel is very kind. I totally recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back !

    Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.

    St. Vigil itself is nothing too special: It's a quaint little village, with one or two semi-decent restaurants. You will eat far better in Brixen. But it's the breathtaking environment that makes up for it!

    The town of San Vigilio di Marebbe is not large, but it has everything we need for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants, as well as bars and souvenir shops. A definite plus is the gas station right at the entrance to the town. As always in Italy, you need to pay attention to traffic signs and speed cameras. The town has a charming atmosphere with beautiful views.

    If you are looking for tidy, small, quiet and peaceful town with very good connection to Kronplatz ski area, and you prefer Austrian to Italian lifestyle, cuisine and general vibes - this is the perfect place! For more vibrant, fancy or party-active holiday, perhaps look elsewhere in Italy :)

    San Vigilio di Marebbe is a good starting point for Kronplatz. You can go up and find good places where it not necessary to go down after whole day using black slopes. There are also a good restaurants there. Enjoy!

    A nice little mountain town.

    A nice little mountain town. It has a surprisnigly large supermarket and some other stores. The main feature, of course, is the Kronplatz ski center. From San Vigilio you have the start for two lines - the top of Kronplatz and Piculin which offers amazing view and some nice places for afternoon lunch.

    Beautiful little hotel, renovated in good taste and attention to every detail. Very friendly welcoming owners, personal service. Rooms spacious, well equipped and nice. Clean and spotless. Great breakfast in cosy restaurant on site. Spa on 1 st floor perfect with saunas and relax area. Big hot tub on the roof- so nice to relax in after day of skiing. Ski bus to lifts stops right in front of the hotel and it runs all day. Heated ski storage in front garden.
